Joined First Place: 2015

As Regional Director of Programs (Alameda and Santa Clara Counties), Rachel Carlos oversees the operating of the My First Place program in the county, providing leadership and management to ensure quality of service and outcomes.

Rachel originally joined First Place in 2009 as a Youth Advocate, and returned in 2015 to help guide our program expansion into Santa Clara County as Clinical Program Manager. In the interim, she served as Mental Health Specialist at Stars Behavioral Health Group, and Clinical Supervisor for the Dependency Advocacy Center.

Rachel has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Saint Mary’s College of California, and a master’s in marriage and family therapy from Holy Names University.
